Handcrafted from solid Burma teak, The Tala Shelf is built as an exploration of repetition and alignment. Each oval form is individually shaped, aligned, and joined using precision mortise and dowel joinery, ensuring perfect strength and balance. The edges are hand-sanded to a soft round profile, allowing light to glide across the surface without interruption. It is then hand-polished to a warm satin matte finish, accentuating the natural rhythm of teak grain — turning structure into sculpture. Every shelf is finished as a standalone art piece — timeless, tactile, and meditative.
